Teaching Little Kids
Assalamualaikum readers,
Started last year, i ve 3 private students who live not very far from my house. there are some reasons, y i decide to to teach them :
- I need to earn money for my self
- My mind doesn't work twice times harder than teach high school students . i also have schedule at uni n it takes my times lots .i need to prepare n study for my self before teaching them. coz their lesson are not difficult n i don't need to prepare or read book at home :P .
- this job is not really hard n the place not very far so i don't need to think how much money that i spent to teach since i just know how to drive a car . so i just go teach by walking . its healthy n save money :P
Even it s easy job , but the word of easy is not always . i agree that teaching high school students ur mind work harder but teaching kids u need extra energy . their lesson look simple but u have to know their mood very well. it s one of difficulties to teach them . u cant be really a teacher to them . sometime u have to be like a friend coz kids love talking n sharing what they know or sometime u have to be involve in their imagination world . This is how to win their heart n make them to study. when u teach them Ur knowledge doesn't impress them lots. what make they impress u is the way how u win their heart . when u can do that i m sure they gonna like to study with u . just like i did. teaching them also need patient even sometime u have to strict . don't forget bring a little present sometime to reward every good things that they have done during study .
It s nice to teach little kids especially for me as a woman . sometime i wonder be a mother . n sometime i think this job is giving me so many inspiration for my future life in handling the kids.^_^

| this little girl's name is Vania .she is my first private student . she is the second level of elementary school. she studies in the Islamic school which uses the international curriculum. so some of her lesson derive in English . i handle her for every subject that she has at school. she is so clever .she love talking n sharing so before we start studying i like to ask about her day at school . she also love games so some lesson i try to combine them with the game. |

| My second private students is Haki. He is the only little boy that i teach (sorry i dont have his picture ) at first day his mom expected me to help him in reading coz he has problem in reading Indonesia . he read so slowly n spent much time . of course it hinders him to answer the questions in examination . at the time i though many times whether i could or couldn't coz i don't have any experience . it s look easy but sometime the reading is the nature skill that come from the kids . i also dont remember how i can read when i was kid. Meaning i dont have any idea how to teach him to read. So i try to used alphabet /letter card for helping me . somehow this idea come to me . It works. i said one words n ask him to find the letter and arrange it for me n some time i ask him to arrange the jumble letter . beside that , i also give him some short texts to read , before he reads i ask to predict what is the story about based on the picture has given . n Thank to ALLAH only in one month mean in 8 meetings. He can read fluently now. So for all mothers in Indonesia who r having problem to teach their kids to read u can try to use the alphabet card :) |

| My third private student is Cici . she is shy girl . i only teach her English . She is clever but not really confidence so i ve to make her active sometime . she love singing. n u know what since her daddy has ipad . she ask me to use ipad every time i need to use whiteboard...hehehehe.. |
